Regan, Brown and Rash land FOX pilots

Two years after "Freddie," Freddie Prinze Jr. is hoping to find greater sitcom success on a show without his name in the title.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Prinze has landed the lead in CBS' Paul Reiser-scripted comedy "Atlanta." He plays a charming ad executive who meets a woman at a funeral and then can't stay away from each other.

In addition to his single-season run on ABC's "Freddie," Prinze's credits include "Scooby-Doo," "Head Over Heels" and being Sarah Michelle Gellar's husband.

Over on FOX, there are a slew of casting additions.

Bridget Regan will take one of the female leads in "Supreme Courtships," about the lives and loves of Supreme Court clerks. Shane West, Zachary Knighton and Leslie Odom Jr. were previously announced.

Dorian Brown has joined Molly Stanton in FOX's untitled Liz Meriwether comedy, lifting the cast contingent pilot order on the series, which focuses on a group of sorority girls who try changing their lives post-college.

Also, Jim Rash ("Life on Stick," "Help Me, Help You") will co-star in "Hackett," about a literary star who moves back to his home in Ohio and begins teaching high school. Rash will play the school's vice principal.
