The ABC series, which will begin its second season in the fall, has hired Jon Cowan and Robert Rovner as executive producers and showrunners. They'll take over for Marti Noxon.

Also at ABC, former "Arrested Development" star Portia de Rossi has joined Victor Fresco's comedy pilot, according to The Hollywood Reporter

Noxon, a "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" veteran, served as a consulting producer and writer on "Grey's Anatomy" in the 2006-07 season. She then moved on to "Private Practice" when it spun off the former show, serving as the day-to-day showrunner under creator Shonda Rhimes. She's "moving on to other projects," per the HR.

Cowan and Rovner most recently worked on "Private Practice's" timeslot rival "Bionic Woman." Their credits also include "Crossing Jordan" and "Summerland."

De Rossi, meanwhile, will co-star in the Fresco pilot, which is about a guy who works for a giant, amoral company but nonetheless tries to do the right thing. The actress, who recently appeared on "Nip/Tuck," joins Andrea Anders ("The Class") in the cast.
