Samaire Armstrong is seeking help for 'personal issues'

Although Samaire Armstrong's "Dirty Sexy Money" character is dealing with substance abuse issues, it's unclear what the actress' problem is in real life.

The 26-year-old has checked herself into an outpatient facility for undisclosed reasons, according to People.

"Samaire Armstrong decided to enter an outpatient facility to deal with some personal issues in a therapeutic atmosphere and is doing very well," the rep said in a statement Friday, Oct. 12. "She continues to work on her show and will be completing her treatment in a matter of weeks.

Us reports that the actress will only be absent from taping one episode.

Armstrong is known for appearing as Anna on "The O.C." and Emily on "Entourage." On ABC's "Dirty Sexy Money," she portrays Juliet Darling, a spoiled, aspiring actress who wants to succeed on her own merit, not because of her family's money or influence.
