'Grey's Anatomy' Star Sandra Oh's Divorce Final
Actress was married to 'Sideways' writer/director Alexander Payne
The actress and "Sideways" writer-director Alexander Payne are finally done with the divorce process now that their finances are settled, reports People.
The couple's marriage was officially dissolved in December 2006, but the last step, finances, still had to be resolved. Although the details haven't been released, Oh had sought spousal support when she had initially filed for divorce in April 2005, when the couple had "mutually decided to separate."
Payne, 46, and Oh, 36, were together for five years before they tied the knot in 2003. They have no children together.
"Sideways" stars Paul Giamatti as Miles, a frustrated writer who travels through California wine country with his has-been actor pal Jack. In the film, Oh plays Stephanie, Jack's intended "last fling" before he gets married.
Payne, who won the Oscar for best adapted screenplay with Jim Taylor for "Sideways," is also the writer-director of "Citizen Ruth," "Election" and "About Schmidt." He's also the writer behind the Adam Sandler comedy "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry."
Oh's film credits include "The Red Violin," "Waking the Dead," "The Princess Diaries" and "Under the Tuscan Sun." A regular on HBO's now-defunct series "Arli$$," she currently stars in the ABC medical drama "Grey's Anatomy," for which she's been Emmy-nominated three times.
