Sexual liberation is swinging by cable.

Bravo has acquired the exclusive cable rights for the original 13 episodes of CBS' summer drama " Swingtown," it was announced Monday (Sept. 29).

"Swingtown" focused on the sexual and social liberation in 1970s American suburban households. In July of 1976, Susan and Bruce Miller (Molly Parker, Jack Davenport) move to an upscale Chicago suburb and get pulled into their new neighbors' (Grant Show, Lana Parrilla) provocative lifestyle that includes open marriages and key parties.

"Swingtown" launched to strong numbers in June but suffered declining viewership, eventually averaging 4.9 million viewers and a 2.1 adults 18-49 rating. The show joins Bravo's previous scripted acquisitions, "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and "The West Wing."

The show will make its cable network premiere later this fall.
