TNT Picks Up Ray Romano's 'Men'
Dramedy is the network's third series order in the past week
The show, which marks the "Everybody Loves Raymond" star's return to TV, is the third show TNT has added to its lineup in the past week. The cable channel picked up the medical drama "Time Heals" and the crime show "The Line" late last week.
Like the other two shows, "Men of a Certain Age" earned a 10-episode order, according to The Hollywood Reporter. It's scheduled to premiere sometime later this year.
The series stars Romano, Andre Braugher ("Homicide") and Scott Bakula ("Star Trek: Enterprise") as three long-time friends who are dealing with their encroaching middle age. Romano plays a divorced dad, Braugher a car salesman working for his father-in-law and Bakula a still-struggling actor.
Romano also co-created the series with "Raymond" writer Mike Royce. The two also serve as executive producers, along with Cary Hoffman and Rory Rosegarten.
