'Arrested Development' Star Meets 'Chuck'
Tony Hale also gets 'Samantha Who?' role
Call it nerds of a feather: Tony Hale, Buster on "Arrested Development," is joining the cast of "Chuck" for multiple episodes next season.Hale has also won a recurring part on the ABC comedy "Samantha Who?," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
On NBC's "Chuck," Hale will play the new assistant manager of the Buy More store where tech-support guy/repository of government secrets Chuck (Zachary Levi) works. The corporate office brings him in to make the store more efficient, a task that will apparently require him to spend several episodes there. The show begins its second season in late September.
On "Samantha Who?," he'll play Sam's (Christina Applegate) new doctor, Andy Adams.
Hale played man-child Buster Bluth for three seasons on FOX's Emmy-winning "Arrested Development." His credits also include "Andy Barker, P.I." and the movies "Because I Said So" and "Stranger Than Fiction." He also has several movies in various stages of production, including the Will Ferrell- and Adam McKay-produced "The Goods: The Don Ready Story."
