Fast National ratings for Thursday, May 24, 2012ABC's "major music series" "Duets" didn't pull in major ratings for its premiere Thursday, drawing about 6.7 million viewers and an adults 18-49 rating below 2.0. The Season 9 premiere of "So You Think You Can Dance," meanwhile, was way down from last season.
ABC did get some good news from "Rookie Blue," which was up a little over its premiere last year. The series finale of "Awake" also improved a little bit for NBC.
CBS' lineup of reruns averaged 7.6 million viewers and a 5.0 rating/9 share in households to lead the night's overall numbers. ABC (6.5 million, 4.3/7) edged FOX (6.2 million, 3.7/6) for second place. NBC took fourth with 2.9 million viewers and a 2.0/3. The CW delivered 713,000 viewers and a 0.5/1.
"SYTYCD" did give FOX a win among adults 18-49 -- the network drew a 2.4 rating for the evening. ABC and CBS tied for second at 1.6, while neither NBC (0.9) nor The CW (0.3) could break the 1.0 mark.
