TV Ratings: CBS Repeats Hold Off Rivals Friday
ABC and CBS tied for first in the adult demo
Even in repeats, CBS' Friday night lineup still handily won the night.
CBS took home a 5.2 rating/9 share among households, still well ahead of ABC in second place with a 3.7/7. NBC, 2.9/5, just edged out FOX, 2.7/5, while The CW could only muster a 0.8/1.
ABC and CBS tied among adults 18 to 49 with a 1.7, just ahead of FOX's 1.5 and NBC's 1.3. The CW had a 0.5.
A rerun of "Ghost Whisperer" started off the night for CBS with a 5.3/10, while a repeat of ABC's "Wife Swap" earned a 2.7/5. FOX's "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" tied with NBC's "Howie Do It" with a 2.4/4 for the hour. The CW started off at the bottom with repeats of "Everybody Hates Chris" and "The Game."
At 9 p.m., a repeat of "Flashpoint," brought CBS down to a 5.1/9, but still kept the network in front. ABC stayed in second with 3.5/6 for "Supernanny," and FOX was in third with a 2.7/5 for "Dollhouse," pretty much keeping most of its audience from last week's premiere. NBC's "Friday Night Lights" wasn't far behind with a 2.5/4, and the finale of The CW's "13: Fear Is Real" too a paltry 0.6/1.
In the 10 o' clock hour, CBS completed its first-place hat trick with its "Numb3rs" repeat nabbing a 5.1/9, although ABC's "20/20" stayed in the game with a 4.8/9. NBC finished off the night with 3.8/7 for "Dateline."
