NBC's unscripted shows pushed the network to the top of the ratings Monday, beating a mix of new and old programming elsewhere.

For the night, NBC earned a 6.9 rating/11 share to beat out CBS' 6.0/9. FOX took third with a 5.0/8, edging ABC's 4.9/8 (FOX had about 900,000 more viewers). The CW trailed with a 1.2/2.

NBC also snagged the top spot among adults 18-49 with a 4.0 rating. FOX, 3.3, finished second in the key demographic, followed by CBS at 3.1. ABC averaged 2.2 and The CW 0.7.

ABC's "Dance War" (6.7/10) won the 8 p.m. hour in households, but "American Gladiators," 5.5/8, brought in just a few more total viewers. "Prison Break," 4.7/7, gave FOX the No. 3 spot in viewers, topping reruns of "How I Met Your Mother" and "The Big Bang Theory" on CBS. The CW averaged 1.2/2 with repeats of "Everybody Hates Chris" and "Aliens in America."

"Deal or No Deal," 8.5/13, earned the night's best rating for NBC at 9 p.m. CBS moved up to second with repeats of "Two and a Half Men," 7.3/11, and "Rules of Engagement," 5.5/8. "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" scored a 5.3/8 for FOX. ABC fell to fourth with the conclusion of "Dance War," 6.2/9, and "Notes from the Underbelly," 3.3/5. Reruns of "Girlfriends" and "The Game" aired on The CW.

At 10 p.m., a "CSI: Miami" rerun, 6.9/11, on CBS edged NBC's "Medium," 6.6/11, for the lead. Both were well clear of ABC's "October Road," which drew a 3.4/6.
