CBS, ABC Share Thursday Spoils
'Lost,' 'Survivor' are night's top shows

ABC's "Lost" stayed pretty strong in its second week back, but CBS, led by the premiere of the newest "Survivor," won Thursday's overall ratings title.
CBS averaged a 7.6 rating/12 share for the night, beating out ABC's 6.4/10. NBC, 5.7/9, finished third in households, but FOX, 5.5/9, had a few more total viewers. The CW trailed with a 2.3/4.
ABC, however, grabbed the top spot among adults 18-49 with a 4.1 rating. CBS took second at 3.5, and NBC and FOX tied for third at 2.9. The CW drew a 1.4.
The premiere of "Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites" earned an 8.1/13 for CBS at 8 p.m. NBC's "Deal or No Deal," 6.2/10, was second in households, but FOX's "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?," 5.7/9, had a slight edge in viewers. A repeat of last week's "Lost" finished fourth for ABC. "Smallville" posted a 2.7/4 for The CW.
"Lost," 8.8/13, moved ABC into the lead at 9 p.m. A "CSI" rerun delivered a 7.9/12 for CBS. "The Celebrity Apprentice," 5.7/9, took third for NBC. "Don't Forget the Lyrics" drew a 5.1/8 for FOX. The CW wrapped up its night with "Supernatural."
CBS took over the top spot at 10 p.m. thanks to "Without a Trace," 6.9/12. "Eli Stone" dropped off from its premiere, scoring a 6.0/10 (it did, however, win the hour in adults 18-49). The premiere of "Lipstick Jungle" on NBC posted a middling 5.3/9.
