'Miami' Nice for CBS Monday
Eye wins overall, FOX grabs demo crown
Fast National ratings for Monday, Feb. 12, 2007"CSI: Miami" and "Two and a Half Men" had a second straight week of strong performances Monday, leading CBS to a Nielsen victory.
CBS averaged a 9.4 rating/14 share in primetime. FOX, 7.9/12, narrowly beat NBC, 7.7/12, for second. ABC took fourth with a 5.3/8, and The CW earned a 1.8/3.
In a tight adults 18-49 race, FOX grabbed the top spot with a 5.0 rating. CBS was right behind at 4.9, and NBC was a competitive third at 4.6. ABC averaged 3.5 in the demographic and The CW 1.2.
NBC's "Deal or No Deal" led the 8 p.m. hour with a 10.0/15. The first of a double shot of "24" posted a 7.7/12 on FOX. "How I Met Your Mother," 6.3/10, and "The Class," 5.9/9, put CBS in third. "Wife Swap," 5.5/8, was fourth for ABC, while The CW trailed with "Everybody Hates Chris" and "All of Us."
At 9 p.m., "Two and a Half Men," 10.1/15, and "Rules of Engagement," 8.7/13, put CBS on top in households, although NBC's "Heroes," 8.7/13, had a few more total viewers. A second hour of "24" improved to 8.1/12 on FOX. "Supernanny" kept ABC in fourth. "Girlfriends" and "The Game" averaged 1.8/3 for The CW.
"CSI: Miami" scored a 12.7/21, the night's best rating, for CBS at 10 p.m. NBC's "Studio 60" was well back at 4.3/7, and ABC's "What About Brian" posted a 3.8/6.
