ABC, CBS Share Monday Honors
'Dancing with the Stars,' 'Two and a Half Men' are top draws
Fast National ratings for Monday, March 31, 2008"Dancing with the Stars" led ABC to an overall ratings win Monday night, but CBS and "Two and a Half Men" captured the demographic crown.
ABC averaged a 9.5 rating/15 share in primetime to finish in front of CBS' 8.0/12. NBC came in third with a 5.1/8. FOX, 4.6/7, was fourth, and The CW managed only a 0.9/1.
CBS led among adults 18-49 with a 4.4 rating. ABC's 4.0 was good for second in the demographic advertisers covet. NBC and FOX tied for third at 2.4, while The CW pulled in a meager 0.5.
"Dancing with the Stars," 12.6/19, ruled the 8 p.m. hour for ABC. CBS took second with "The Big Bang Theory," 5.5/9, and "How I Met Your Mother," 5.9/9. A "House" repeat, 4.8/7, put FOX in third. "My Dad Is Better Than Your Dad" drew a 2.7/4 for NBC. The CW went with a "Gossip Girl" rerun.
ABC stayed on top at 9 p.m. as "Dancing" (which ran until 9:36) and "The Bachelor: London Calling" averaged 10.5/16. CBS got solid numbers from "Two and a Half Men," 8.8/13 (it was also the night's top show in the 18-49 demo), and "Old Christine," 8.0/12. "Deal or No Deal," 6.3/9, moved NBC ahead of "New Amsterdam," 4.4/6, on FOX. "The Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious" finished the night for The CW.
At 10 p.m., "CSI: Miami" scored a 10.0/16 for CBS. "Medium" earned a 6.2/10 for NBC, while "The Bachelor: London Calling" fell to 5.3/9 on ABC.
