CBS, FOX Split Monday Pot
'Hell's Kitchen' is night's top show
Fast National ratings for Monday, July 16, 2007"Hell's Kitchen" led FOX to the top of the demographic heap in Monday's ratings, but CBS took home the overall title.
For the night, CBS earned a 4.6 rating/8 share. NBC finished second in households at 3.9/7, but FOX, 3.8/7, had more viewers (6.05 million to NBC's 5.66 million). ABC came in fourth at 3.5/6, and The CW trailed with a 1.1/2.
FOX won the adults 18-49 demographic fairly easily with a 2.9 rating. NBC's 2.2 was good for second, edging CBS' 2.1. ABC averaged 1.9 and The CW 0.6.
A "Wife Swap" repeat, 3.9/7, put ABC on top at 8 p.m. The NBC special "Victoria Beckham: Coming to America" scored a 3.5/6, finishing in a dead heat with reruns of "How I Met Your Mother" and "Old Christine" on CBS. A "Hell's Kitchen" repeat was fourth for FOX. "Everybody Hates Chris" and "All of Us" each drew a 1.2/2 for The CW.
FOX took the lead at 9 p.m. with a new "Hell's Kitchen" (5.0/8), which was the night's top show in both total viewers and the 18-49 demo. CBS was right behind with "Two and a Half Men," 5.4/9, and a second "HIMYM," 4.3/7. "Extreme Makeover" delivered a 3.5/6 for ABC, topping the 3.0/5 for "Age of Love" on NBC. The CW went with reruns of "Girlfriends" and "The Game."
"CSI: Miami," 5.4/9, won the 10 p.m. hour for CBS. "Dateline" posted a 5.2/9 for NBC, and a "Supernanny" repeat on ABC delivered a 3.2/6.
