CBS Perpetrates Another Thursday Win
'Dance' keeps tapping for FOX
Another Thursday, another ratings win for CBS.
The Eye rolled to an easy Nielsen win for the night with a 5.8 rating/10 share. FOX was a fairly distant second at 4.0/7, and ABC and NBC tied for third at 3.8/7 (NBC had more total viewers). The WB and UPN also tied, coming in at 1.4/2 (with the Frog having a few more viewers).
FOX managed to tie CBS for the lead among adults 18-49, with each network pulling down a 2.5 rating. NBC took third with a 2.2. ABC finished fourth at 1.7, and UPN and The WB tied at 0.8.
"Big Brother: All-Stars" got CBS out of the gate with a 4.5/8 at 8 p.m. NBC was second for the hour with reruns of "My Name Is Earl," 3.8/7, and "The Office," 3.1/5. "Master of Champions" put ABC in third. An hour of "That '70s Show" on FOX delivered a 2.6/5. The WB's "Smallville" repeat, 1.5/3, edged "Everybody Hates Chris" and "Love, Inc." on UPN.
CBS stayed on top at 9 p.m. with "CSI," 6.5/11. FOX jumped up to second with "So You Think You Can Dance," 5.4/9, which also had the night's best 18-49 rating. The "America's Got Talent" results show scored a 4.9/8 for NBC. "Grey's Anatomy" averaged 3.6/6 for ABC. The WB stayed in fifth with "Supernatural," topping "Eve" and "Cuts" on UPN.
"Without a Trace" held steady for CBS at 10 p.m. with a 6.4/11. "Primetime" scored a 5.0/9 for ABC, while NBC's "Windfall" earned a 3.2/6.
