FOX Keeps on Dancing Wednesday
Another ratings win for 'So You Think'
Fast National ratings for Wednesday, July 23, 2008FOX rang up another ratings victory Wednesday, thanks to the final eight competitors on "So You Think You Can Dance."
FOX averaged a 5.2 rating/9 share for the night, beating out CBS, 5.0/9, for the top spot. ABC finished third at 3.4/6. NBC, 2.8/5, came in fourth, and The CW trailed at 0.7/1.
In the adults 18-49 demographic, FOX was the only network to break the 2.0 barrier, finishing at 2.9. CBS took second at 1.8, followed by ABC, 1.7, and NBC, 1.5. The CW drew a paltry 0.4.
"So You Think You Can Dance" drew a 5.0/9 for FOX at 8 p.m. "Big Brother 10," 4.2/8, put CBS in second. A "Wife Swap" rerun on ABC was third at 2.9/5, beating the 2.2/4 for a rerun of "The Baby Borrowers" on NBC. The CW aired an "America's Next Top Model" rerun.
CBS' "Criminal Minds" rerun, 5.6/9, led in households at 9 p.m., but "So You Think You Can Dance," 5.5/9, had more total viewers. A new "Baby Borrowers," 3.0/5, moved NBC ahead of ABC and "Supernanny," 2.8/5. The CW went with "The Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious."
"CSI: NY" scored a 5.1/9 for CBS at 10 p.m. ABC's "Primetime: Crime" earned a 4.4/8, while "Law & Order" posted a 3.1/5 for NBC.
