'So You Think' keeps FOX atop 18-49 heap

Better numbers for "Flashpoint" and the return of "Big Brother" to Thursdays helped CBS win the night's ratings battle.

CBS averaged a 4.9 rating/9 share in primetime, narrowly beating FOX's 4.6/8. NBC and ABC tied for third in households at 3.0/5, with NBC drawing a few more total viewers. The CW drew a 1.1/2.

FOX managed to snag the top spot among adults 18-49 with a 2.3 rating. CBS finished second in the key ad demographic with a 2.0. NBC, 1.7, took third, followed by ABC, 1.3, and The CW, 0.6.

"Big Brother 10" scored a 4.2/8 for CBS at 8 p.m. "Don't Forget the Lyrics," 3.7/7, finished second for FOX. "Last Comic Standing," 3.0/5, put NBC in third, beating out an "Ugly Betty" rerun, 2.6/5, on ABC. "Smallville" trailed on The CW.

FOX and CBS each drew a 5.4/9 at 9 p.m., but FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance" had more viewers than the Eye's "CSI" repeat. "Last Comic Standing" ticked up to 3.4/5 on NBC. "Grey's Anatomy" kept ABC in fourth, while "Supernatural" scored a 1.1/2 for The CW.

At 10 p.m., "Flashpoint" earned a 5.2/9 for CBS, up from its Thursday debut last week. "Hopkins" posted a 3.9/7 for ABC, topping the 2.6/5 for "Fear Itself" on NBC.
