Fast National ratings for Monday, June 15, 2009

"The Bachelorette" showed signs of ratings life Monday, but not enough to dethrone CBS as the night's ratings champ.

CBS drew a 5.5 rating/9 share in households at 7.75 million viewers for the night, beating ABC (4.1/7, 5.92 million) by a comfortable margin. NBC came in third at 3.4/6, edging FOX's 3.1/5. The CW was well back at 0.6/1.

The adults 18-49 race was closer, but CBS still led with a 2.2 rating. ABC was right behind at 2.1. NBC finished third at 1.8, followed by FOX, 1.6, and The CW, 0.3.

"The Bachelorette" put ABC on top at 8 o'clock with a 4.5/8. Repeats of "The Big Bang Theory" and "How I Met Your Mother" averaged 4.0/7 for CBS. A "House" rerun on FOX earned a 3.2/5, topping the 3.0/5 for "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here" on NBC. The CW went with a "Gossip Girl" repeat.

CBS took the lead at 9 with "Two and a Half Men," the night's most-watched show at 6.4/11, and another "Big Bang Theory," 5.4/9. "The Bachelorette" improved to 4.8/8 in its second hour. "I'm a Celebrity," 3.3/5, moved NBC ahead of FOX and "Lie to Me," 3.0/5. The CW aired a "One Tree Hill" encore.

"CSI: Miami" scored a 5.5/10 for CBS at 10. "Dateline," 3.8/7, was second for NBC, beating out the 2.8/5 for "Here Come the Newlyweds" on ABC.
