TV ratings: CBS reruns rule Monday
'Two and a Half Men,' 'Big Bang Theory' lead the way
Fast National ratings for Monday, June 15, 2009"The Bachelorette" showed signs of ratings life Monday, but not enough to dethrone CBS as the night's ratings champ.
CBS drew a 5.5 rating/9 share in households at 7.75 million viewers for the night, beating ABC (4.1/7, 5.92 million) by a comfortable margin. NBC came in third at 3.4/6, edging FOX's 3.1/5. The CW was well back at 0.6/1.
The adults 18-49 race was closer, but CBS still led with a 2.2 rating. ABC was right behind at 2.1. NBC finished third at 1.8, followed by FOX, 1.6, and The CW, 0.3.
"The Bachelorette" put ABC on top at 8 o'clock with a 4.5/8. Repeats of "The Big Bang Theory" and "How I Met Your Mother" averaged 4.0/7 for CBS. A "House" rerun on FOX earned a 3.2/5, topping the 3.0/5 for "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here" on NBC. The CW went with a "Gossip Girl" repeat.
CBS took the lead at 9 with "Two and a Half Men," the night's most-watched show at 6.4/11, and another "Big Bang Theory," 5.4/9. "The Bachelorette" improved to 4.8/8 in its second hour. "I'm a Celebrity," 3.3/5, moved NBC ahead of FOX and "Lie to Me," 3.0/5. The CW aired a "One Tree Hill" encore.
"CSI: Miami" scored a 5.5/10 for CBS at 10. "Dateline," 3.8/7, was second for NBC, beating out the 2.8/5 for "Here Come the Newlyweds" on ABC.
