Crime-drama reruns score an easy ratings win

CBS coasted to a ratings win Thursday night, with its crime dramas beating back all comers.

The Eye averaged just over 8 million viewers and a 5.4 rating/10 share in households, topping second-place FOX (5.9 million and 3.7/7) by a wide margin. NBC managed only a 1.9/4, but that was still good for third place, ahead of ABC, 1.8/3, and The CW, 0.8/2.

FOX led the adults 18-49 demographic with a 1.7. CBS, 1.5, came in second, while NBC took third at 1.0. ABC (0.7) and The CW (0.4) both fell below the 1.0 mark.

A "CSI: Miami" rerun, 4.2/8, put CBS on top at 8 p.m. FOX finished second with a "Bones" repeat, 2.9/6. A pair of "Samantha Who?" episodes averaged 2.2/4 for ABC, beating out "30 Rock" and "The Office" on NBC. "Smallville" drew a 0.9/2 for The CW.

CBS held the lead at 9 with "CSI," 5.3/10. FOX stayed in second (and led among adults 18-49) with "So You Think You Can Dance," 4.4/8. More of "The Office" and "30 Rock," 1.8/3, moved NBC ahead of ABC and "Grey's Anatomy," 1.6/3. The CW's "Supernatural" dipped a little bit from its lead-in.

"The Mentalist," 6.5/12, completed the CBS sweep at 10 and drew the night's biggest audience. Neither "The Listener," 2.2/4, on NBC, nor "Private Practice," 1.6/3, on ABC provided much of a challenge.
