The Eye wins every hour in viewers; FOX leads the demo

CBS cruised to a ratings win on Sunday night, winning every hour of primetime in total viewers. Despite a much smaller overall audience, though, FOX managed to grab the adults 18-49 title.

CBS averaged 7.1 million viewers and a 4.6 rating/9 share in households for the night. NBC was a fairly distant second at 2.7/5. ABC was third in households at 2.0/4, but FOX (1.9/4) had a slight lead in viewers. The CW drew a 0.7/1.

FOX led the 18-49 demographic with a 1.5 rating. CBS and NBC tied for second at 1.1. ABC could manage only a 0.8, but that was more than enough to beat The CW's 0.3.

The Eye jumped on top at 7 p.m. with "60 Minutes," 5.3/11. "Dateline" earned a 2.9/6 for NBC. "America's Funniest Home Videos" delivered a 2.5/5 for ABC, easily beating the 1.1/2 for "'Til Death" and "American Dad" on FOX. The CW's "Valentine" trailed.

A "Million Dollar Password" repeat, 4.3/8, kept CBS on top at 8. "Merlin," 2.7/5, held onto second for NBC. ABC got a 2.5/5 from "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." FOX aired a 1991 "Simpsons" (2.2/4) with guest star Michael Jackson and "King of the Hill" (1.9/4). The movie "Road House" aired on The CW.

At 9 o'clock, "Cold Case" scored a 4.5/8 for CBS. FOX moved up to second thanks to "Family Guy," 2.6/5, and a second "Simpsons," 2.6/4. The movie "The Bourne Supremacy" drew a 2.4/4 for NBC, topping "Desperate Housewives" on ABC. "Road House" finished with a 1.0/2 on The CW.

"Without a Trace," 4.3/8, finished off CBS' sweep of the night at 10. "The Bourne Supremacy" improved a bit to 2.7/5 on NBC. A "Brothers & Sisters" rerun on ABC drew a 1.4/3.
