'Two and a Half Men' tops a quiet night

Fast National ratings for Monday, Aug. 3, 2009

A rerun-heavy Monday night tipped to CBS, with "Two and a Half Men" and "The Big Bang Theory" leading the way.

CBS brought in 7.2 million viewers and a 4.8 rating/8 share in households, beating second-place NBC (5.6 million, 3.7/6). FOX (3.7 million, 2.4/4) edged ABC (3.5 million, 2.4/4) for third. The CW brought up the rear with just 790,000 viewers and a 0.6/1.

CBS also led among adults 18-49 with a 2.2 rating. NBC finished second in the demographic with a 1.5, just ahead of FOX's 1.4 and ABC's 1.2. The CW drew a 0.4.
