TV ratings: 'So You Think You Can Dance' is Thursday's winner
FOX gets an across-the-board win with 'SYTYCD'
Fast National ratings for Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009The crowning a new champ on "So You Think You Can Dance" led FOX to the top of the ratings heap on Thursday night.
FOX drew 9.3 million viewers and a 5.6 rating/10 share in households, easily beating second-place CBS, which brought in just under 7 million viewers and a 4.6/8. NBC (3.3 million, 2.2/4) was a distant third. ABC (2.8 million, 2.0/4) took fourth, and The CW trailed with 1.3 million viewers and a 0.9/2.
FOX also led among adults 18-49 with a 3.4 rating. That was almost double the 1.8 for No. 2 CBS. NBC finished third at 1.1, followed by ABC, 0.7, and The CW, 0.5.

NBC: "The Office" rerun (2.9 million, 1.9/3)/"30 Rock" rerun (2.7 million, 1.7/3)
The CW: "Supernatural" rerun (1.2 million, 0.8/1)
18-49 leader: "So You Think You Can Dance" (3.8)

NBC: "Law & Order" rerun (4.1 million, 2.8/5)
