TV ratings: 'Talent' prevails Tuesday
NBC rolls to victory; 'Millionaire' dips on ABC
NBC dominated Tuesday night's ratings as "America's Got Talent" continued its solid summer. No one else really came close.
For the night, NBC pulled in a shade under 10.5 million viewers and a 6.4 rating/11 share in households. It finished almost 4 million viewers ahead of second-place CBS (6.6 million, 4.3/7). FOX (5.3 million, 3.1/5) came in third, beating out the 4.2 million viewers and 2.8/5 for ABC. The CW was, as usual, a good ways back with 809,000 viewers and a 0.5/1.
NBC also claimed the lead among adults 18-49 with a 2.8, though FOX was not far behind at 2.4. CBS finished third in the advertisers' favorite demographic with a 1.8. ABC averaged 1.2 and The CW 0.3.
