US of Bacon Add to Favorites

There's no sign of an ``aporkalypse'' on ``US of Bacon.'' As reports of a world shortage of pork and bacon made headlines in 2012, chef Todd Fisher hit the road on a simple mission: find the most mouthwatering bacon creations in America. The ultrapopular breakfast side dish has turned into a garnish extraordinaire, as the artistic centerpiece of traditional recipes and in inventive pairings with ice cream, jams and cocktails. This sizzling series expands on a previous special in which Fisher satisfied his ``bacon bucket list'' by visiting trailblazing small businesses and sampling such items as grilled cheese with bacon jam, and bacon and chocolate ice cream sandwiches.
