US of Bacon Add to Favorites

There's no sign of an "aporkalypse" on "US of Bacon." As reports of a world shortage of pork and bacon made headlines in 2012, chef Todd Fisher hit the road on a simple mission: find the most mouthwatering bacon creations in America. The ultrapopular breakfast side dish has turned into a garnish extraordinaire, as the artistic centerpiece of traditional recipes and in inventive pairings with ice cream, jams and cocktails. This sizzling series expands on a previous special in which Fisher satisfied his "bacon bucket list" by visiting trailblazing small businesses and sampling such items as grilled cheese with bacon jam, and bacon and chocolate ice cream sandwiches.
