ABC Downloads More 'Kyle'
Network re-airing ABC Family series on Fridays
Repurposed episodes of of ABC Family's "Kyle XY" will make their debut on ABC at 8 p.m. ET Friday, June 15. The show begins its second season on the cable network four days earlier. Episodes of the show will air on the broadcast network through at least July 6.
When the series left off at the end of last summer, Kyle (Matt Dallas) was leaving the Trager family with his supposed biological parents -- who in fact are working to protect him from a shadowy corporation that wants to get its hands on him. A twist of fate will land him back with the Tragers, who may now be in harm's way too.
Viewers will also find out the identity of the girl in the pod (new cast member Jaimie Alexander, "Rest Stop") and how she fits into the saga.
Marguerite MacIntyre, Bruce Thomas, April Matson, Kristen Prout, Chris Olivero and Jean-Luc Bilodeau will all reprise their roles from last season.
ABC enjoyed some moderate success last summer in airing "Kyle XY," averaging about 4.2 million viewers per week with the repurposed episodes. Originals on ABC Family drew a little over 2 million viewers.
