TV ratings: 'Hung' well-endowed for HBO Sunday
The cable network's comedy starring Thomas Jane as a cash-strapped coach-turned-gigolo premiered with 2.8 million viewers, becoming HBO's most-watched series debut since "John From Cincinnati," which got a boost from "The Sopranos" series finale in June of 2007.
Adding that to the midnight replay, "Hung" drew a total of 3.7 million viewers for its first night out.

"True Blood's" third episode received its own 3.7 million viewers at 9 p.m., which blossomed into 5.1 million once the 11 p.m. replay was through.
In its second season, the vampire drama has been outperforming its freshman season by 38 percent in weekly averages. Its current gross audience of 10.8 million viewers a week includes network airings, HBO On Demand viewership and DVR numbers.
