Ali Larter is betrothed to comedian Hayes MacArthur

Ali Larter, who has multiple personas on NBC's "Heroes," is looking forward to another role: wife.

The 31-year-old actress got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, actor Hayes MacArthur, over the weekend, reports People.

"It's true," says a rep for the actress. "They're thrilled."

No wedding date has been set yet. It will be the first marriage for both performers.

MacArthur is a stand-up comedian and actor who studied a the Groundlings Theater Company and Atlantic Theater Company. He's been featured in "The Game Plan," on "MAD TV," "Medium," Comedy Central's "Premium Blend" and on a recent episode of "How I Met Your Mother" as Curt, the former hockey player turned news guy with whom Robin (Cobie Smulders) had an ill-advised relationship.

On "Heroes," Larter portrays young mother Niki, who must contend with her strange fragmented personalities Jessica and Gina. Larter has also appeared on the big screen in "Varsity Blues," "Drive Me Crazy," two "Final Destination" films, "Legally Blonde" and "Resident Evil: Extinction."
