'Carpoolers' Star Ties the Knot
Allison Munn married hometown sweetheart, actor Scott Holroyd
The TV star and her actor fiancee Scott Holroyd exchanged vows on Saturday, Nov. 17 in their home state of South Carolina, reports People.
"We grew up together and this is where we're both from," says Munn. "So we wanted to treat all of our friends to a traditional Southern wedding."
The couple tied the knot in front of 200 guests at the French Huguenot Church in Charleston. The reception at the city's Hibernian Hall included Southern cuisine such as fried green tomatoes, mashed potatoes, deviled eggs and crab soup.
The two actors had grown up in the same state, but it wasn't until Holroyd moved to Los Angeles in 2004 that they started dating.
"He called me up and we started dating," says Munn, "He walked in with a history. I already knew him and his family, so I knew he was a solid guy."
The two were engaged last December in Paris.
Munn, 33, currently stars as Cindy, the wife of Dougie (Tim Peper) on ABC's "Carpoolers." She's previously appeared on "That '70s Show" and "What I Like About You."
Holroyd, 32, played Paul Ryan on "As the World Turns." He's also appeared on "That '70s Show," "Without a Trace," "Ghost Whisperer" and "Cold Case."
