CW Medical Drama Staffs Up
Michael Trevino and Cassidy Freeman join 'Austin Golden Hour'
"Cane's" Michael Trevino and newcomer Cassidy Freeman are the latest additions to the green network's real-time medical drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter. They join the recently announced David Rogers and "Smallville's" Green Arrow himself, Justin Hartley.
The medical drama, from "American Idol" creator Simon Fuller, is a real-time hourling that follows a team of emergency room surgeons and EMTs in the critical 60 minutes following a trauma.
Trevino will play a part-time CTU medic who's also an aspiring musician. Freeman will play the attractive yet tough country girl Charlie who is a rookie paramedic in the Shock Trauma Unit.
Trevino, 23, played Jaime Vega on CBS' short-lived drama "Cane." He's also appeared on "The Riches" and "Bones."
