'O.C.' Co-Star Joins CW Pilot
Actress joins the already cast Ryan Devlin
The actress and David Walton will join the cast of the Untitled Tom Wheeler pilot that stars Ryan Devlin, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The WBTV and Class IV Prods. project revolves around a brainy graduate student (Devlin) and his pals who hone their talents by solving crimes. Reeser will play a paralegal and an FBI agent's daughter, who also happens to be dating Devlin's character. Walton will play that elusive combo of class stud and chemistry student.
Reeser appeared on the third season of FOX's "The O.C." as little more than a cliquish queen bee, but that soon changed to a much meatier and charming part in the show's final season, after the death of Mishca Barton's character Marissa. As Taylor Townsend, Reeser befriended Summer and Seth (Rachel Bilson, Adam Brody) and became the on-again, off-again love interest for Ryan (Benjamin McKenzie).
Reeser's previous credits include appearances on "Grounded for Life," "Cold Case," "Complete Savages" and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia."
