'Medium' scares up Balthazar Getty
Rumer Willis also guesting in upcoming episode
Getty is set to guest-star on an episode of NBC's "Medium" later this season. The episode, which series star Patricia Arquette is directing, will also feature Rumer Willis and a returning Anjelica Huston, People reports.
Huston, who appeared in several episodes last season, will reprise her role as private investigator Cynthia Keener, who's now serving a prison sentence for murdering her daughter's killer. She tries to contact Allison DuBuois (Arquette) when a friend, played by Willis, goes missing.
Getty, meanwhile, will play a wealthy man who asks Allison to help investigate the disappearance of his wife. He's free to do the "Medium" appearance because his "Brothers & Sisters" character is being written out for a time, though he's expected to return to the ABC show next season.
Willis appeared in the movie "The House Bunny" last year and has also guested on "CSI: NY" and "Army Wives." Huston earned an Emmy nomination for playing Keener last year and has several movies due for release in the coming months, including the summer romantic comedy "When in Rome."
