John Billingsley joins cast along with Jeffrey Nordling

If one of the stars of "The Nine" is added to "24" should the show be called "33" this season? Probably not.

The Emmy-winning FOX thriller has added John Billingsley in a recurring role and Jeffrey Nordling as a regular for the upcoming seventh season.

As is often the case with "24," specific information on the actors, their characters and their roles within the new season isn't abundant. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Nordling will play an FBI agent named Larry and Billingsley will play somebody named Latham. But what's Larry's last name? And is Latham a first name or a last name? We may never know for sure.

Other new actors committed for "24" are Cherry Jones as the President, Colm Feore as the First Husband and Janeane Garofalo as somebody FBI-related.

The seventh season of "24" is set to begin shooting on Sept. 10, a date that's already been pushed back due to a variety of production delays.

Nordling was most recently seen as a regular on FX's "Dirt." He'll recur on the show's second season. His other credits include "Home of the Brave," "Flicka" and a long run on "Once and Again."

Billingsley earned strong reviews for his turn on ABC's "The Nine" last season and he also did multiple episodes of FOX's "Prison Break." He's still probably best known as Dr. Phlox from "Star Trek: Enterprise."
