Zach Braff Is FOX's 'Saint'
Braff will direct and produce 'Saint of Circumstance' if the strike ever ends
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Braff is in negotiations to direct and executive produce "Saint of Circumstance." It seems likely that Zach Braff's deal will go forward, since the pilot was written by his brother Adam, who will also executive produce.
Denman will play Wayne, a man going through a midlife crisis, leaving a dead-end job to become a night shift paramedic.
Set up at ABC Studios, "Saint of Circumstance" isn't on the fastest track to production. It's waiting on both the end of the writers strike and Zach Braff's completion of his acting duties on the seventh and final season of "Scrubs."
Braff has been a semi-regular director on "Scrubs" in recent seasons, helming six episodes. He also directed the hit film "Garden State." The Brothers Braff adapted "Andrew Henry's Meadow" for 20th Century Fox.
Denman is best known as Pam's former fiance Roy on NBC's "The Office." He's done stints on "Grey's Anatomy" and "K-Ville" this season, as well as the upcoming features "Fanboys" and "Shutter."
