Life's Still 'The Pitts' for Original Stars
Dylan Baker and Lizzy Caplan will lend voices to a possible animated series
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dylan Baker and Lizzy Caplan will voice Bob Pitt and Faith Pitt, father and daughter in the world's most unlucky family.
The two actors will participate in a table read of a new script at FOX. The trade paper says that if the read goes well, the network will send "The Pitts" straight to series in an animated form.
Andy Milonakis will replace David Henrie as son Petey Pitt. The trade paper makes no mention of who will read for wife and mother Liz Pitt, a role played by Kellie Waymire, who died just months after the five-episode FOX run of the live-action "Pitts."
Since "The Pitts," Baker has appeared in films like "Spider-Man 3" and "The Hunting Party," plus FOX's short-lived "Drive."
Caplan has appeared on one-season-wonders "Related" for The WB and "The Class" over at CBS. She'll next be seen in "1-18-08" or "Cloverfield" or whatever the J.J. Abrams-produced giant monster movie ends up being called.
