Tom Selleck returns for 'Jesse Stone: No Remorse'

CBS has begun production on "Jesse Stone: No Remorse," the sixth telefilm in the Tom Selleck franchise.

Selleck has played Jesse Stone in a series of TV movies including "Stone Cold," "Jesse Stone: Night Passage," "Jesse Stone: Death in Paradise," and "Jesse Stone: Sea Change." The franchise's fifth installment, "Jesse Stone: Thin Ice," has yet to air.

In "No Remorse," Police Chief Stone finds himself suspended by the town council in Paradise, MA and goes to work for State Homicide Commander Healy (Stephen McHattie) on a series of murders in Boston. Meanwhile, Rose (Kathy Baker) and Suitcase (Kohl Sudduth) have to investigate a crime wave in Paradise on their own.

Also returning for "No Remorse" are William Devane, Saul Rubinek and William Sadler. New to the franchise is Krista Allen.

Production is now underway in Halifax, Nova Scotia with Robert Harmon directing from a script by Selleck and Michael Brandman.
