Sissy Spacek, Alfre Woodard, Jodelle Ferland and James Tupper star

CBS has begun production on "Pictures of Hollis Woods," a telefilm which will air as a New Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation.

Set to star Sissy Spacek, Alfre Woodard, Jodelle Ferland and James Tupper, "Pictures of Hollis Woods" is shooting in Vancouver.

Ferland ("The Secret of Hidden Lake") plays the titular Hollis Woods, a young girl used to be passed around the foster care system. She thinks she's found a perfect home when a social worker (Woodward) places her with retired teacher Josie (Spacek), but Josie may be experiencing some medical problems.

Brent Shields ("The Valley of Light") will executive produce with Dan Paulson ("Full Court Miracle") producing from a script by Emmy winner Ann Peacock ("A Lesson Before Dying").

Tony Bill, an Oscar winner as one of the producers on "The Sting," will direct. Bill's helming credits include "My Bodyguard," "Untamed Heart" and, most recently, "Flyboys."
