The former Hollywood couple has retracted their claws

After much nasty name-calling and allegations of abuse, the Charlie Sheen-Denise Richards divorce case has been "amicably resolved," but not finalized.

Lawyers for both celebrities met with a judge on Monday, Aug. 14 to resolve certain unnamed issues in the case, report news sources. Richards, 35, filed for divorce from Sheen in March 2005 after three years of marriage.

One of the resolved issues was a restraining order, which has been dropped, that Richards obtained in April to keep Sheen away from her and their two daughters after she claimed he physically abused and verbally threatened her. During the divorce proceedings, the actress also complained about Sheen's alleged porn, prostitute, drug and gambling habits, which the actor has denied.

The "Two and a Half Men" star is seeking joint custody of the children: Sam, 2, and Lola, 1. He currently has weekly visitation rights. No upcoming court dates have been scheduled.

Richards is currently cosying up to Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora and missing out on her former friendship with Heather Locklear, Sambora's ex. As for Sheen, he's been romantically linked to various young ladies.

Sheen and Richards first met when she played his girlfriend in the 2000 comedy film "Good Advice" but only began dating after they appeared together in the sitcom "Spin City" in 2001. They married in a private ceremony in June 2002.

They also co-starred on an episode of Sheen's CBS series "Two and a Half Men" and 2003's "Scary Movie 3."

Sheen, 40, stars in "Two and a Half Men" and is also known for his film work that includes "Platoon," "Wall Street," "Young Guns," "Major League" and "Hot Shots!" Richards' big-screen credits include "Starship Troopers," "Wild Things," "The World is Not Enough," "Undercover Brother" and "Love Actually."
