Chris Elliott taps on 'Fish Tank'
Comedy centers on a teenager living alone
The comedian has signed on for CBS comedy pilot "The Fish Tank," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
A teenager, apparently called Fish (Drake Bell) has wacky adventures living home alone in his family house. Elliott will play the dad of Fish's best friend. Dash Mihok was previously cast as a whimsical neighbor.
Elliott took a stab at starring in his own sitcom, "Get a Life" and has guest starred in numerous other comedies. He also appeared on David Letterman's two late night talk shows and was a cast member of the 1994-1995 season of " Saturday Night Live," on which his daughter Abby Elliott is currently a featured player.
