Bierko, Sagal Head to 'Boston'
Flurry of guest stars set for ABC series
LOS ANGELES --Constance Zimmer ("Entourage"), "Invasion" star Tyler Labine and frequent Kelley collaborator Anthony Heald ("Boston Public") will also appear on the show.
Bierko ("Cinderella Man," "Scary Movie 4") will make his first appearance in the show's second episode of the season, scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 26. He'll play a defense attorney named Jeffrey Coho who takes on a high-profile case in his first day at Crane, Poole & Schmidt: that of a young man (Ashton Holmes, "A History of Violence") accused of murdering a judge.
Sagal will play the accused's mother in the storyline, which will run for several episodes. The former "Married ... with Children" star has guest-starred on "Lost" a few times and is set to resume her voice role on "Futurama" when it goes back into production at Comedy Central.
Labine will play a prosecutor, and Heald will reprise his sometime "Legal" role as the Judge Harvey Cooper, who's presiding over the case. Zimmer, meanwhile, will play a new lawyer at Crane, Poole & Schmidt.
Although "Boston Legal" has gone through some cast upheavals in its first two seasons, year three will begin with last season's core cast -- James Spader, William Shatner, Candice Bergen, Mark Valley, Julie Bowen and Rene Auberjonois -- all returning.
