Script orders for a medical shipboard and Internet blog drama

The CW is getting into the spirit of things with "Ghosts."

The network has a put pilot order for the drama, which writer Adam Mazer describes as a "young 'Grey's Anatomy' in the FBI." According to The Hollywood Reporter, that means it's about twentysomething operatives in the FBI's elite special surveillance group. We're not sure where the "Grey's Anatomy" part comes in, but we're guessing that some ill-advised romance, low self-esteem and soul-searching come into play.

Producer Ben Silverman, who won an Emmy for "The Office," will executive produce with Reveille's Teri Weinberg and Catapult LLC's Marc Abrams and Michael Benson. A studio has yet to come on board to produce.

The network also has two script orders for a couple drama projects. The first is "The Good Ship" from executive producers Mace Neufeld, Trey Callaway and Kel Symons.

The hourlong from CBS Paramount Network Television was inspired by the Navy ships that were deployed after the devastation of the 2004 tsunami and Hurricane Katrina. "Ship" centers on a group of young civilian and military doctors on a Navy hospital ship that answers medical needs in the event of a crisis. Callaway ("Supernatural," "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer") will write the script.

In addition, Eric and Kim Tannenbaum of the Tannenbaum Co. has teamed with Warner Bros. Television for the hourlong drama script revolving around a young woman's video blog, on which she discusses and features her family.

Bob Brush ("Ed," "Early Edition") will write as well as executive produce The Tennenbaum Co. is also responsible for "Two and a Half Men" and the upcoming "Notes From the Underbelly."
