NBC Needs Another 'Hero'
'Nine' actress Dana Davis joins cast
Davis, a regular on "The Nine" last season, will be a regular on the series for 2007-08, according to The Hollywood Reporter. She's the second new full-time cast member on "Heroes" this season, following Dania Ramirez ("The Sopranos"). The show has also added a slew of recurring characters, including David Anders ("Alias"), Lyndsy Fonseca ("How I Met Your Mother") and Barry Shabaka Henley ("Miami Vice").
As with most of the new additions, details about Davis' character and her abilities are being kept quiet. Her name will be Monica, and per the HR, she "would give up everything to help the people around her."
Davis played Chi McBride's daughter on ABC's "The Nine" last season and also appeared on The CW's "Hidden Palms." Her credits also include the feature films "Coach Carter" and "Raise Your Voice" and guest appearances on "Veronica Mars," "Point Pleasant" and "CSI: Miami."
"Heroes" is scheduled to begin its second season on Monday, Sept. 24.
