Seymour, Spice Girl Come 'Dancing'
ABC separates competitors by gender at start
Melanie "Scary Spice" Brown, boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr., Jane Seymour and Wayne Newton will join eight other celebs on the network's top-rated reality show this fall. ABC has also expanded the show's premiere across three nights, splitting the contestants by gender in the first week.
The premiere, on Monday, Sept. 24, will feature the six women showing off their skills. The men will get their own showcase the next night, and the first couple will go home on Wednesday, Sept. 26. Dolly Parton will perform on the first results show.
The roster of stars is somewhat different than a list that was leaked online earlier in the week. Eight of the people on that list, published by TMZ.com, are in fact part of the show, but the likes of Nia Peeples, Aaron Carter, Tori Spelling and Gisele Bundchen are not.
