Actor and wife add a son to their family

LOS ANGELES -- Former "Miami Vice" star Don Johnson's wife decided to give him something more unique than the traditional wool or copper gift for their seventh wedding annivesary.

Johnson and his wife Kelley celebrated the occasion with the birth of their third child on Saturday morning, April 29, report news sources.

The as yet unnamed baby boy was born in a Los Angeles hospital and weighed 7 pounds. Apparently, the proud father was "over the moon times six," according to spokesman Elliot Mintz.

The parents also have a 6-year-old daughter, Atherton Grace, and a 3-year-old son, Jasper Breckenridge. Johnson also has a daughter, Dakota, with ex-wife Melanie Griffith and a son, Jesse, with Patti D'Arbanville.

Johnson, 56, is best known for playing Det. James "Sonny" Crockett on the hit '80s series "Miami Vice," which has received the big-screen treatment and will hit theaters Friday, July 28. Johnson also starred in the series "Nash Bridges" and took another brief stab at TV with 2005's "Just Legal."
