Ex-'Law & Order' DA Takes Her 'Shots'
Elisabeth Rohm joins new ABC series
She's one of several actors coming aboard new shows on ABC and NBC. Ryan Devlin ("Veronica Mars") is also joining "Big Shots," while at NBC, Jordan Bridges ("Conviction") will appear in multiple episodes of "Bionic Woman" and Brando Eaton will recur on "Journeyman," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Rohm will play a TV business reporter who catches the eye of Michael Vartan's character on "Big Shots," which premiered on ABC Thursday (Sept. 27). She played Assistant District Attorney Serena Southerlyn for four seasons on "Law & Order," departing the show in 2005. Her credits also include "Angel" and "Miss Congeniality 2."
Devlin, who played the unsavory Mercer Hayes on "Veronica Mars" last season, will play an intern at the cosmetics company headed by Dylan McDermott's character and a love interest for McDermott's daughter, played by Peyton List.
On "Bionic Woman," Bridges -- the son of Beau Bridges -- will play a CIA operative whose cover is working as a teaching assistant at a university. He'll also be a possible romantic interest for Jaime Sommers (Michelle Ryan). In addition to NBC's "Conviction," Bridges has also appeared on "Dawson's Creek" and "Charmed."
Finally, Eaton is set to play the younger version of Kevin McKidd's character on "Journeyman." Eaton has guested on "Zoey 101" and "The Closer."
