Pilots: Emily Rose Takes USA's 'Instructions'
USA's 'White Collar,' HBO's 'In Treatment' also add to casts
Elsewhere, Alison Pill ("Milk") has joined the cast of HBO's "In Treatment" for its second season.
Rose, whose credits also include recurring parts on "Brothers & Sisters" and "Jericho," will star in "Operating Instructions" as a trauma surgeon in the military, according to The Hollywood Reporter. After a tour of duty overseas, she returns home to take a post at an inner-city hospital.
Garson, who's best-known for his portrayal of Stanford Blatch on "Sex and the City," will play a friend of lead character Matthew Bomer in "White Collar." The 90-minute pilot centers on a con artist (Bomer) who's forced to work as an FBI consultant following his release from prison.
At HBO, Pill will play one of Paul Weston's ( Gabriel Byrne) therapy patients, a grad student who has lymphoma, on "In Treatment." Her credits also include "Dan in Real Life," "The Book of Daniel" and "Pieces of April."
