Shock jock has been married once before

Who would have thought that Howard Stern would set the romantic bar so high?

In conjunction with Valentine's Day, the shock jock announced on his Sirius Satellite Radio show that he proposed to and was accepted by his longtime girlfriend Beth Ostrosky.

Stern, 53, popped the question last night (Feb. 13), offering the 34-year-old model a 5.2 carat emerald-cut diamond ring.

The King of All Media, who has always claimed he would never remarry, also added that he expects the engagement to be indefinitely long. No wedding date has been set.

Stern was previously married to Alison Berns, his college sweetheart, for 20 years. They have three daughters together: Emily, 23, Debra, 19 and Ashley, 14. The couple divorced in 2000, and shortly afterwards he started dating Ostrosky. They currently live together in Manhattan.
