It's the actor's second child with his current wife

For Jeffrey Tambor, there's no excuse to forget the date Dec. 10th from now on.

The former "Arrested Development" actor and his wife welcomed their new baby daughter into the world on that Sunday, which also just happened to be his son's second birthday, reports People.

The girl, who weighed 8 pounds at birth, has been named Eve Julia. Her older brother is Gabriel Kasper.

Tambor, 62, and his wife Kasia, 38, married in October 2001. From a previous marriage, he also has a grown daughter Molly, who gave birth to his grandson Mason Jay Moore on Dec. 14, 2004, just four days after the birth of his son Gabriel.

Tambor is also known as the sidekick on "Larry Sanders" and for playing twin brothers Oscar and George Bluth, Sr. on the critically acclaimed "Arrested Development." His latest endeavor, the NBC sitcom "Twenty Good Years" opposite John Lithgow, is currently on hiatus.
