Former 'Girl Next Door' gets solo series

Kendra Wilkinson has moved out of the Playboy mansion, and E!'s cameras are going with her.

The cable channel has picked up a new series featuring the former "Girls Next Door" star. The new show, tentatively titled "Kendra," will follow Wilkinson as she attempts to live on her own for the first time as an adult and plans a wedding to her fiance, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hank Baskett.

"Kendra has developed a loyal fanbase with her outrageous personality and trademark laugh," says Lisa Berger, who oversees original series for E!. "Now she's faced with the reality of making it outside the gates of the mansion, and as Kendra's fans are aware, you never know what she's going to do next. We are thrilled to be going into these uncharted waters with her."

Wilkinson, 23, has lived at the Playboy Mansion as one of Hugh Hefner's three girlfriends for the past four years. She, Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt have all moved out in recent months, and Hef has a new trio of blondes living with him (they'll be part of a new "Girls Next Door" season in the fall).

The new show will chronicle Wilkinson and Baskett moving in together and planning their June wedding while at the same time, she adapts to doing her own laundry and cooking and tries to keep her career moving with modeling and hosting jobs.
