FOX's 'Courtroom K' Lawyers Up
Michael Landes joins Megan Dodds and Alfred Molina
Michael Landes will join Megan Dodds and the newly added Alfred Molina in the yet-to-shoot pilot, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
While FOX didn't officially pick-up the Paul Attanasio-created series at its upfront on Thursday (May 15), the network showed a teaser reel for it during the presentation and suggested that "Courtroom K" was very much in the mix for a midseason berth.
Set in and around a Milwaukee Superior Courthouse, "Courtroom K" focuses on a judge (Molina), a prosecutor (Landes) and a public defender (Dodds). It's described as a darkly comic look at the legal profession in the tonal vein of "House."
Landes was one of the stars of FOX's short-lived "The Wedding Bells," while his other TV credits include "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" and "The Wonder Years." On the feature side, Landes has upcoming roles in " Lakeview Terrace" and "Possession."
