Actor has been wed for 14 years

Larry David will have to curb his enthusiasm for marriage.

The HBO star's wife has filed for divorce after 14 years of marriage, reports People.

Laurie David, 49, petitioned for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, July 13. She's seeking joint custody of their two children: Cazzie, 13, and Romy, 10. She's also the producer of the green documentary "An Inconvenient Truth."

The actor's rep claims that the split is "completely amicable."

Larry David, 59, is the creator and star of HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and co-creator, head writer and executive producer on "Seinfeld."
